Here are some of the standards that are needed for FST products

Flame

The ASTM and OEM MFG standards that we meet include:

• ASTM C1166: Flame Propagation of Dense and Cellular Elastomeric Gaskets
• ASTM E162 (surface flammability)
• ASTM C542 (low flame)
• ASTM E662 (specific optical density of smoke)
• ASTM E1354       standard for release rates for both heat and visible smoke.
• NFPA 130: Standard for Fixed Guideway Transit and Passenger Rail Systems
• Bombardier SMP 800-C (toxic gas generation)
• Boeing BBS 7239 (toxic gas generation)
• FMV-SS-302: Flammability of Interior Materials – Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Vehicles, and Trucks (Officially known as 49 CFR 571.302)
